Bed & Breakfast Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings, we kindly ask that you take a moment to read them prior to completing your Accommodation Booking.

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply: “Company”, “our” or “we” means Tuppenhurst Barn & Tuppenhurst Farm.

“Booking” means the booking for accommodation, functions and/or any other services or items made with us. “Contract” means the Booking and these Terms, and any other terms and conditions stated to apply to the Booking. “Property” or “estate” means the premises, buildings, grounds located at Tuppenhurst Barn, Tuppenhurst Farm in its entirety. “Terms” means these terms and conditions.

  • Bookings

    All Accommodation Bookings are subject to these Terms.

     

     

    Payment & Charges

    We require full payment for your booking 72 hours in advance of the check in date, this is non refundable , refunds will be given at the discretion of the company. We require payment via Bank transfer using the details provided in the ‘Thank you for booking’ email.

     

     

    Terms

    We require full pre-payment for the entire stay, prior to check-in and this is non-refundable.

     

     

    Cancellation Policy and No Shows

    Changes or Cancellation by the Company – In such circumstances you will be given a full refund but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation.

     

    Cancellation by the Guest – All bookings are NON-REFUNDABLE 72 hours in advance.

     

    Bookings made through 'booking.com' are subject to the cancellation terms on the 'booking.com' website.

     

     

    Smoking

    Smoking is not permitted on anywhere at the premises , guests will be asked to leave immediately if found smoking anywhere on the Company property

     

     

    Damage

    Guests must not tamper with any fire alarms or emergency equipment. – TAMPERING WITH FIRE DETECTION SYSTEMS AND FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT We reserve the right to take action against any guest found to have tampered / interfered with any fire detection equipment throughout the venue, including detector heads in public areas and bedrooms, break glass points, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers. Guests found to have tampered with any emergency safety equipment,  fire detection or fire fighting equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by the Comapny due to their actions and additionally may be asked to leave the premises. Depending on the severity of the guest actions, the Police may become involved at our discretion. Should the fact that fire fighting or detection equipment had been tampered with come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.

     

    DAMAGE TO PROPERTY We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.

     

    If you or your group cause damage or loss of any kind to the hotel, other guests or their property, you (as the person making the booking) will be responsible for that damage or loss and you shall be liable to pay the Company on demand, the amount required to make good or remedy such damage or loss.

     

     

    Behaviour

    INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR It is our policy that all our guests have the right to be treated with dignity and respect and as a responsible host we believe that we have a duty to our guests to protect them from inappropriate behaviour. Should any actions by a guest be deemed inappropriate by The Companies Staff, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of our staff, we reserve the right, after any allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest. Depending on the severity of the guest actions, the Police may become involved at our discretion, or guests may be asked to leave.

     

    Guest Behaviour

    Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with Company procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the estate, its employees and guests and their health and safety. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the estate, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the estate if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case we shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.

     

     

    NON- Resident Guests

    Our  Guest Accommodation is not suitable for parties and we respectfully request that any guests not staying overnight, are not invited back to the overnight guest areas, including our outdoor seating area

     

     

    Reservations

    You and the members of your group must not resell or transfer your reservation (or any part of it) nor advertise, market or otherwise offer any Tuppenhurst accommodation for sale either on its own or as part of a combined offer. The Company will not honour any bookings made in this way and does not accept any liability for doing so.

     

     

    Parking

     Our properties have free parking available. Cars and their contents are left at the owner’s / customer’s own risk. We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage.

     

     

    Problems and Complaints

    Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable stay. If however, you have any problem or cause for complaint, it is essential that you contact us immediately so we can work to resolve it, failure to notify us during your stay does not allow us to rectify any issues.

     

     

    Dogs

    Dogs are allowed in all rooms with a charge of £10 per dog per stay (per room)

    If any damage is incurred due to your dog staying The Company reserved the right to send an invoice to rectify the damages to your address and the party agrees in bringing a dog they are liable for any damage caused.

     

    If your party consists of two rooms , dogs that go between bedrooms will incur an extra charge of £10 per room.

     

    Dogs must not be left in cars overnight

     

    Dogs must not be left in rooms unattended

     

     

    Check in / out

    Check in and out are listed in your ‘thank you for booking email’ , a late check out will incur a late check out charge.

     

     

    Working farm

    Tuppenhurst Barn is situated on Tuppenhurst Farm, a working farm, due to health and safety walking through the farm and farm yard is not permitted under any circumstances , guests who are found to do so may be asked to leave.
